Best Places to Eat in Kauai

A lot of places in Kauai, especially local shops, close early so do keep that in mind when looking at making dinner reservations.  If the restaurant is in a hotel, it will be open late.  We'll note times if places close early.

Best Bakery:  Passion Bakeries

• Have to try the Portuguese stuffed donuts (Cinnamon sugar one only on Tue, Thurs, Saturday)
• Also have hot egg sandwiches, muffins, other baked goods
• Open M-Sat from 7a - noon

Best for Romance:  Tidepools @ Grand Hyatt

• Best service and beautiful landscaping make it hard to leave when you are done with dinner.  Fresh fish, steak, and multiple options will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. 
• Do make reservations as they book early
• Free valet parking for dining guests

Best Hawaiian Surfing Atmosphere: Duke's @ Kauai Marriott

• If you haven't been to a Duke's in Hawaii yet, this is the one to try.  Stunning beach setting. with views out to the Bay.
• Enjoy Hawaiian style dining and tropical drinks.  Do not forget to get the HULA pie!
• Free valet parking for dining guests and a free lot also nearby for self-park and beach access

Best Food Truck: Kauai Boba & Barbeque

• As the name implies, great variety of BBQ and boba.  Also salads, bowls, and burgers all near the beach for takeout.
• Open M-F from 11a-7p, Saturday 11-5p
