The official start of spring was on March 20th and with  more venues and events opening, there is a sense of normalcy and the possibility of  venturing  outside our homes. With that being stated, families might have harder time looking for places to visit due to shortened hours of operation or their favorite venues still not open, this might bring about some frustration. However, these minor setbacks should not deter traveling to any local  spots. One particular location, that encompasses spring and holds a majestic array of floral sights are “The Flower Fields” of Carlsbad: www.theflowerfields.com

The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for 10-weeks - from early March through early May- literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area's local heritage, also is one of nature's official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California.

Once your family has completed their walk through the flower fields there are plenty of restaurants nearby because across the street from the flower fields is the Carlsbad Premium Outlet. The particular location of the outlet does have a cautionary warning, in terms of finding a parking space because I have encountered a difficult time finding a space during peak days, mainly the weekends. However, the parking space is not a big enough worry to drive away any visitors looking for a California Spring adventure.

Within the www.theflowerfields.com site visitors can purchase tickets, read up on safety protocols, and operating hours/dates. With our wonderful California weather any visit to the flowers fields will be a wonderful experience.
